In 1999 the project “Style” came into effect to establish a design school at Kazan National Research Technological University. The manufacturer “Bruper International Group” (Italy) was the initiator of the project.

The first students were enrolled to the Russian and Italian School “Style” in May 2000.

Establishing training for Light Industry majors in Volga region, professional skills development and “know-how” impact of Italian technologies are the chief goals of the project.

The school runs programs in “Interior Design”, “Landscape Design”, “Graphics Design”, “Painting” based on the Italian methods, which apply professional conditions to training.

The Russian and Italian School “Style” offers additional professional education programs in:

• “Suit Design” (505 hours) – professional retraining program; full-time (4 months) and extramural (9 months) courses.
• “Interior Design” (505 hours) – professional retraining program; extramural courses (9 months).
• “Interior Design” (124 hours) – continuing professional education program; full-time courses (3 months) and extramural courses (3 months).
• “Landscape Design” (108 hours) – continuing professional education, full-time (3 months) and part-time courses (3 months).
• “Graphics Design” (108 hours) – continuing professional education, full-time courses (3 months) and part-time courses (3 months).
• “School of Painting” (108 hours) – beginners and advanced students program, Saturday classes (5-6 months).
• “Design and Modeling” (105 hours) – extramural courses (9 months, once a week).
