On November 25, KNRTU was visited by representatives of JFR Co. Ltd. - CEO of JFR Co. Ltd. Hiroshi Miyazaki and CEO of JFR RH LLC Ruslan Naumov. Representatives of the Japanese Company visited the Republic of Tatarstan in December last year and expressed a desire to localize their production in our Republic.

JFR Co. Ltd is an international biotechnology company engaged in the development of food products and food probiotic preparations, the technology for increasing the digestibility of feeds with a high protein content, as well as the development of waste water treatment systems for agricultural production and waste recycling.

During the meeting, the following areas of further cooperation were formulated:

- creation of a joint biotechnological laboratory (Biocentre) on the basis of KNRTU;

- determination of topics for scientific cooperation;

- the possibility of internships for teachers of KNRTU in Japan;

- participation in academic student exchange programs;

- invitation of teachers from Japan with the purpose of giving lectures on the basis of KNRTU.
