In the subject area "Engineering Sciences and Technologies", KNRTU entered the group 801+. It is worth mentioning, that KNRTU has one of the best results in the criteria “Number of citation of scientific works” among the universities in the group. In total, the ranking includes 903 universities, 28 of which are from Russia.

Results were assessed based on the results of a statistical analysis of university activities, as well as the results of the annual global survey of the international experts and employers. Universities are evaluated by 13 indicators. These are, for example, the quality of teaching, the quality of research activities and the number of citation of scientific works, the participation of the university in innovation processes and global research.
