Rector of KNRTU – Dr. Sergey Yushko visited Tajikistan and France

On March 19-22, 2019, Rector of KNRTU – Dr. Sergey Yushko visited Tajikistan and France as a member of the delegation of Tatarstan, headed by the President of the Republic of Tatarstan – Rustam Minnikhanov

During the visit to the Republic of Tajikistan, the delegation representatives held a number of meetings and business negotiations. They visited the joint Tajik-Turkish company “Akia Avesto” and the Dushanbe cable plant “Nokili Talco”.
Representatives of the Republic of Tatarstan took part in the meeting with the President of the Republic of Tajikistan, Emomali Rahmon, during which they discussed the current state of cooperation between the republics, as well as directions for its expansion.
The delegation of Tatarstan also took part in the Tajikistan-Tatarstan business forum along with the Prime Minister of Tajikistan Kokhir Rasulzoda, where current and potential new joint projects were discussed.

The next part of the business trip included a number of meetings and visits to organizations in the French Republic. The list of destinations included the Regional Council Provence-Alpes-Côte d'Azur, Technoparc des Florides, business forum “Alpes-Provence-Côte d'Azur Region – Tatarstan” etc.

As part of this visit, Rector of KNRTU visited the Institute for Regulation and Automation (IRA). During the meeting with the IRA representatives, possibilities of cooperation and signing of the Memorandum of Understanding for the implementation of joint projects in the field of education and science were discussed. Also, the representative of the Institute for Regulation and Automation, Renaud Dubreuil, in his speech at the business forum “Alpes-Provence-Côte d'Azur Region – Tatarstan” highlighted the possibilities for mutually beneficial cooperation between the Institute for Regulation and Automation (IRA) and KNRTU.
