On November 17, several platforms of the regional championship «Young professionals» (WorldSkills Russia) of the Republic of Tatarstan was opened at KNRTU. Competitions are going to be held in such professional competences such "Industrial design", "Labor protection", "Printing technologies", "Engineering CAD-design", "Fashionable clothes and accessories design". The republican team for the Russian WorldSkills Championship 2022 will be formed during the competitions.

New «Motion design» platform was opened for the first time at the initiative of the KNRTU Department of Design, which presented its capabilities during the Kazan Digital Week in September. The competence experts were the Chair of the Design department Venera V. Khammatova, associate professor Roman V. Kovalenko and Master’s degree students.

Participants of the "Labor protection" competence were welcomed by the First Deputy Minister of Labor, Employment and Social Services of the Republic of Tatarstan Rustem F. Valiullov.

Vice Rector for Educational and Social Work Albina R. Shavaleeva and the chief expert of the "Labor protection" competence, associate professor of the KNRTU Industrial Safety department Ruslan Z. Khairullin also gave a speech and wished the participants successful and fruitful work.

Chief of the Administrative Office for Press and Mass Communications "Tatmedia" Dmitry M. Perevezentsev presented the "Printing technologies" competence at the International Competence Center of the Kazan Technical College of Information Technology and Communications.

"Industrial Design" and "Industrial Design Juniors" competencies were opened at the site of the Kazan Technological College. Director of the KNRTU Institute of Lifelong Education Lyubov V. Ovsienko congratulated participants and experts of the competition.

The championship special guest became the Deputy Minister of Industry and Trade of the Republic of Tatarstan Timur I. Samatov.. A solemn oath was traditionally given by KNRTU student Aigul Nabiullina and a representative of the expert community, chief specialist in educational and practical work Andrey Ponomarev.
