The contest is conducted annually in the biggest cities of Russia. As a long-standing partner of the Embassy of France in Russia, KNRTU conducts this event in Kazan.

30 French studying KNRTU students of nonlinguistic specialties wrote dictation based on French speaking writers. The text of the dictation was read by the French native speaker – KNRTU lecturer Lorene Mignot. All participants and winners got certificates and diplomas.

Eduard Vasilyev showed the best result and was one of the 20 outstanding students of 400 in Russia who will participate in the next round of the contest. Next round will be held on March 26 in Moscow. The best 10 of 20 will get an opportunity to go to France for linguistic training.
