Rectors of KNRTU and NCTI Remote Campus organized the VII International Network Scientific Practical Conference of Engineering Education in the Conditions of Digitalization and Transition to Green Economics. It took place on October 13th in Nizhnekamsk with the support by Gazprom, SIBUR Holding PJSC, Administration of Nizhnekamsk Municipal District and Nizhnekamsk City.

Participants of the conference were the representatives of leading technical and technological universities, Gazprom and SIBUR subsidiary companies and other enterprises, authorities and engineering education specialists. The main goal was the discussion about actual issues related to future specialists and staff development in chemical and petrochemical industries.

One of the main topics of the discussion was the development of the PromChemTech Advanced Engineering School, based in KNRTU with the participation of industrial partners: PJSC Gazprom, PJSC SIBUR Holding, RTSim LLC, etc. The main engineering task of the new school was the development of closed-type industrial technologies in the most science-capacitive, demanded, high commercialization potential areas of the chemical industry of our country.

Also, the plenary session agenda included keynote speeches on training and professional development of chemical technologists of the digital age and the development of advanced engineering schools.
