On April 29, 2020, KNRTU hosted a webinar‘European Granting Foundations for R&D Commercialization’ for PhD students in Engineering under Erasmus+ Jean Monnet Module “The European Union Entrepreneurial Environment at HEIs: Changing the World by Technology Ventures”.

The workshop focused on R&D commercialization programs in the EU.

The module coordinator and leader DilbarSultanova gave a presentation on fund raising and writing applications for calls from international granting foundations where the Russian engineering MSc and PhD students can participate. She gave students a practical experience of composing grant applications by introducing the basics of filling in a logical framework matrix. Some students sent their drafts to her, and Dilbar Sultanova provided feedback by evaluating them.

Director of KNRTU International Affairs Anna Ebel gave a presentation on DAAD academic mobility programs, types of programs, eligibility criteria, and deadlines for applications.
