Innovations in higher education play a crucial role in global communication. JM Modules open new opportunities for introducing the best European practices into the educational programs at Russian universities. At the same time, while teaching, it is very important to follow the EU quality assurance standards so as to provide transparency and guarantee trust from all stakeholders.

The teaching and learning materials of the 4 courses within the JM Module “The European Union Entrepreneurial Environment at HEIs: Changing the World by Technology Ventures” were summarized in the format similar to the EU universities practices. The course descriptions were developed and formulated in accordance with ESG including the course provider, title, number of ECTS credits, name of lecturer, mode of delivery, language of instruction, aims and learning outcomes, pre-requisites, course content, recommended reading and assessment methods.

The course evaluation form included 4 parameters: course aims, course content, target group and prerequisites, learning outcomes each scoring from 0 to 5 points, 20 in total.

For course evaluation, we invited the EU company which supports entrepreneurship initiatives, ZENIT GmbH (https://www.zenit.de/english/), a long-lasting partner of Kazan National Research Technological University. This company was founded in 1984, it is a public-private partnership with around 60 employees and the agency for innovation and European affairs of the German State of North Rhine-Westphalia.

The team of reviewers consisted of the following ZENIT staff members:

- Sergej Paveliev, Innovation Consultant / Project Manager / Lead Cooperation Axis NRW-Russia;
