Innovation policy is essential to creating new jobs and building a green society. Its importance is widely recognized and linked to other policies such as employment policy, environmental policy, energy policy and industrial policy. Being and interface between research and industry, innovation policy aims at creating a framework to bring the best ideas and products into the market.

Within the course of lectures and practical classes, the students discussed the fundamental theories of innovation and currents trends similar to all countries of the European Union and those typical of some particular countries.
