Jean Monnet Module “The European Union Entrepreneurial Environment at HEIs: Changing the World by Technology Ventures” in the 2021-22 academic year

The 2021-22 academic year started in September, 2021. This year, MSc degree program “Project Management in Chemical Technology” enrolled 27 students. Some of them are recent alumni of bachelor’s degree programs, while others have already had years of practice in different businesses and industries; the programs appears attractive for both.

The first meeting gathered all students together, and professors introduced the courses of the semester to them. Anna Starodubova, Associate Professor at Department of Innovation in Chemical Technology, gave general information on the classes and schedule for the autumn semester. Julia Ziyatdinova, Chair of Department of Foreign Languages for Professional Communication, presented general information about the EU Erasmus+ program, and the JM Module where the students were going to participate. Artem Bezrukov, Associate Professor at Department of Physical and Colloid Chemistry, showed the webpage of the project on the University website and shared the experience of the previous two year of the module implementation.

The students demonstrated their interest and motivation for the courses to be studied and EU experiences in engineering entrepreneurship and innovations.
