On September 16 to 18, Tallinn University of Technology (TalTech) held the regular EU ERASMUS+ ENTER workshop.

The sessions were attended by representatives of both Russian and foreign partner universities and companies included in the project consortium, viz. representatives of EU universities from Portugal, Slovakia, Estonia, representatives of Russian universities from Tambov, Tomsk, Rostov-on-Don, Kirov, the Association for Engineering Education of Russia, Bologna Club (an association for promoting internationalization of education and export of educational services), as well as Kazakhstan universities. At the TalTech workshop, our university was represented by the Head of the Department of Engineering Pedagogy and Psychology, Professor Farida Shageeva, Associate Professors of the Department of Foreign Languages for Professional Communication Natalia Kraysman and Guzel Khusainova. The languages spoken at the session were English and Russian.

The project mainly aimed at developing the potential of engineering education in partner countries based on the Bologna Principles to solve problems in the rapidly changing modern socio-economic environment. The objective set to the project is to develop a multi-level modular curriculum for Innovative Pedagogy for Engineering HEIs' Teachers (iPET) based on international network cooperation.

During the session, each of the consortium universities gave an account of how teachers were trained within the programs of the multi-level modular curriculum Innovative Pedagogy for Engineering Teachers modules iPET 1 and iPET 2. Further, the project participants discussed the issues of accreditation of the programs at each university, raised the questions of issuing certificates to the trainees, considered training modules for all iPET courses based on the results of pilot programs, proposed improvements and updates, the process of completing the final work of the iPET program, etc. On the final day, the tasks of continuing work within the ENTER project were distributed among the partner universities.
