On December 18, a mass sports event “KNRTU Sports Stars” was held in the educational and sports complex “Miras”. At the event the ceremony of awarding athletes and coaches was held and the results of 2021 sports events were demonstrated.

This year, Islam Falyakhov, honored Master of Sports of Russia, world champion in belt wrestling 2019 and 2021, champion of Russia in belt wrestling 2020, world class athlete, once again was announced the best athlete of KNRTU.

Alexey Gavrilov, Maya Ziganshina, Elmira Khairullina, Natalia Bashkirtseva were awarded in the nomination “For contribution to the development of sports”.

Sergey Demenev, Larisa Finogentova,Vladimir Kuzmichev, Tagir Karimov became the best organizers of KNRTU physical culture activities.

Marat Akhmadiev, Nikolay Podyapolsky, Dmitry Kashkin were announced as the best KNRTU coaches.

In the Autumn Spartakiad of the current year, the students of the Institute of Petroleum, Chemistry and Nanotechnology , the Institute of Chemical and Petroleum Engineering and the Engineering Chemical and Technological Institute took the 1st, 2nd and the 3rd places respectively.

The men's and women's teams of the Institute of Petroleum, Chemistry and Nanotechnology became the best in volleyball. In basketball, the men's team of the Engineering Chemical Technology Institute took the 1st place. The representatives of the Institute of Petroleum, Chemistry and Nanotechnology became the chess championship winners.

Director of the Miras sports complex Damir Kayumov was awarded with a special prize — a Certificate of Honor by the Ministry of Education and Science of the Republic of Tatarstan.

Vice-Rector for educational and social work Albina Shavaleeva, Head of the Department of Social and Youth Policy Roman Tonshev and the director of the KNRTU Sports Club Sergey Demenev gave their speeches and awarded the champions.
