The innovative educational project of our university was selected in the competitive selection of the Ministry of Education and Science of the Russian Federation, which allowed KNRTU to obtain the status of a Federal Innovation Platform (FIP).

Our university submitted an application on the subject «Digital engineering chemistry» and presented the project «Scalable model of digital chemical facility».

According to Gulnaz Lutfullina, the Head of the Educational and Methodological Department of KNRTU and Project Coordinator, 24 participants from six departments worked on the project. The initiative came from the Vice-rector for Academic Affairs Dilbar Sultanova, she’s the one who assembled the team, listened to the ideas of each of the representatives and gave them the chance to prove themselves.

What gives the university FIP status? First of all, it is an opportunity to purchase necessary equipment for the creation of six laboratories and one class of computer training facilities, for an amount of more than 50 million rubles.

“The status of the Federal Innovation Platform will make it possible not only to carry out interdepartmental design work and Research & Development work, but also introduce new ways of teaching and improve the qualifications of teachers, employees and representatives of external organizations. – Moreover, the project is closely connected with the university work in the framework of «Priority-2030»: its realization will enable the university not only to increase its innovative status, but also to fulfil the commitments made in the federal program more effectively.



Project implementation Period: from 1 January 2022 to 31 December 2025

Heads of the departments, teachers and even graduate students showed great activity in the preparation of the project. «I especially want to mention the project team, in particular the assistant professor of the IS department Lina Safiullina, great enthusiasm and patriotism of all our participants: they support the successful development of their directions, departments, students and the whole university», - Gulnaz Gusmanovna emphasized.
