GAZPROM REPRESENTATIVES VISIT INSTITUTE OF ADDITIONAL PROFESSIONAL EDUCATION

On May 19, Gazprom PJSC delegates visited KNRTU to participate in career fair traditionally held at our university, and to meet with the university administration and discuss prospects for future cooperation. Our guests were also shown Emerson and Yokogawa laboratories, as well as “Cyber Polygon”.

The fair opening ceremony was followed by visit of the Deputy Head of the Gazprom PJSC Department Andrey Frolkov to the Institute of Additional Professional Education, which has been closely cooperating with the company in the field of advanced training and professional retraining.

Director of the Institute of Additional Professional Education Mansur Galikhanov presented a number of additional educational programs, including those for Gazprom PJSC managers and specialists. Apart from traditional education technologies, the institute actively uses such modern approaches as e-teaching, distance education, and VR technologies.

Our partners visited laboratories and classrooms, equipped with Gazprom PJSC financial support and got familiar with the interactive training simulator complexes. Deputy General Director for Personnel Management of Gazprom Pererabotka LLC Dmitry Ponomarev and the delegation members had an opportunity to make a virtual tour of gas-distributing plant and to test VR simulators, used in oil and gas industry, as well as interactive training simulators for firefighting and first aid.

Besides, Gazprom representatives attended TechnoLeadeR school classroom, which is supported by the company as well. So, it made a great contribution having provided the engineering school with a set of textbooks for talented students.

In 2016, under the sponsorship of Gazprom PJSC a multifunctional classroom for advanced training and professional retraining for the company staff was opened, where distance learning technologies and e-learning are actively used. The Director of the Center of Innovative Competencies Lilia Miftakhutdinova reported that currently they are holding 85 online advanced training and professional retraining courses, which were launched at Gazprom PJSC branches request. A wide range of online courses demonstrated to the partners arose their great interest.

Among other members of Gazprom delegation who visited KNRTU there were Deputy General Director for Corporate Protection and Personnel Management of LLC “Gazprom Transgaz Kazan” Andrey Demidov, Chief Specialist of Gazprom PJSC Anna Pilosova, Deputy General Director for Corporate Protection and Personnel Management of Gazprom Dobycha Shelf Yuzhno-Sakhalinsk LLC Gennady Gavrilin.
