The solemn ceremony of awarding diplomas was held at Kazan City Hall, where a hundred of top KNRTU students 2022 were honored. The event brought together Bachelor and Master’s Degree graduates, who have succeeded significantly in research, social activities, art and sports during their study at the university.

The ceremony was opened by the director general of Gazprom Transgaz Kazan LLC Rustem Usmanov. “Your efforts and patience that you have been demonstrating throughout the study is the first considerable contribution to your future career”, he noted in his commencement speech. He also recommended not to strive for leading positions from the very beginning of a career, but to start from the bottom and gain experience step by step.

KNRTU has many students who start their career in research still studying at university. Their small scientific discoveries are gradually turning into great innovative developments. Both basic fundamentals and practical knowledge given at the university provide our students with great opportunities for personal and professional growth, that’s why it was no surprise that Kazan City hall housed a great deal of students who contributed to the university science research capability.

Managing Director of SIBUR Corporate University Rustam Galiakhmetov congratulated the graduates and expressed his gratitude to the professors and parents of students, while Director General of JSC Tatneftekhiminvest-holding Rafinat Yarullin in his congratulatory speech emphasized the role of building warm relationships and creating happy families.

KNRTU Acting Rector Yury Kazakov awarded the best graduates with the diplomas and expressed his gratitude: “Thank you very much for your active participation in social, sports, scientific and academic life of our university. I would also like to thank your dear ones, as well as our industrial partners- SIBUR and Gazprom companies, and other organizations for our graduates’ support and their job placement.
