Kazan Digital Week 2022 International Forum was held at Kazan Expo Exhibition Center from 21 to 24th of September. Around 15.000 participants from dozens of countries come to Kazan to get acquainted with scientific and engineering base for creating products of digital technologies and to exchange experience of business cooperation. KNRTU took part in the Forum in cooperation with partners from the Digital Technologies Consortium, which was created with the support of RTSim, SoftLine and System Solutions companies.

KNRTU and SoftLine represented their two projects: Cyberpolygon (has already started) and Digital Technologist, which aims to implement digital assistant developed in Russia with artificial intelligence technology into currently existing technological processes of industrial partners. According to the developers, this technology will optimize production costs significantly. Pilot tests have already been conducted in several regions of Russia and its effectiveness has been confirmed.

A joint project of KNRTU and System Solutions Company – BIM Academy will start in October. According to this project, the new laboratory will appear on the basis of KNRTU. Specialists of the companies and teachers of the University will be able to conduct additional practical classes for students and undergraduates.

One of the ambitious projects of KNRTU and RTSim is Industrial Metaverse. Its purpose is to create a new universal e-platform for studying and solving process optimization problems in online mode, conducting industrial safety trainings, virtual production startup with the involvement of operation teams. At the moment the project is at the initial stage.
