RAEX has presented the second influence rating of Russian universities that involves 75 higher educational institutions, including KNRTU.

The project is released as a part of the educational ratings system Three Missions of the University by the support of the Russian Union of Rectors and the Ranking Compilers Association.

KNRTU was included in the list of Russian universities with the greatest impact on scientific community, elite formation, young people and the Internet audience.

The rating was based on an assessment of 14 criteria according to the universities survey results and the collection of independent sources information, such as graduate employment monitoring by the Ministry of Education and Science, information in the Internet encyclopedia Wikipedia, analytics from Alexa Web Service, social media, RAEX data on the number of graduates in Russian companies’ leadership positions, as well as information from foreign and Russian scientometric sources.

The rating relies on objective indicators without using subjective surveys of respondents.

The Republic of Tatarstan was represented only by three universities - KFU, KSMU and KNRTU.
