From June 12 to 16, Dilbar Sh. Sultanova, Vice-Rector for Academic Affairs, visited Yildiz Technical University (YTU) in Turkey, one of the leading universities, specializing in engineering. The university has 2 institutes and 11 faculties.

During the visit, the Vice-Rector visited the historical Davutpaşa Campus of YTU and got acquainted with the work of the largest Technopark in Türkiye, which functions on the basis of the university. The Technopark includes more than 500 research and development companies, carrying out research and development in many fields, such as software, telecommunications, pharmaceuticals, chemistry, food industry, etc. First-time entrepreneurs can find the infrastructure and facilities for research and development here. Yildiz Technical University attaches great importance to the use of clean energy in every field it comes in contact with, starting with its campuses. In turn, the Technopark has the right to evaluate and certify production facilities and companies for compliance with the requirements of sustainable development.

As a result of the visit, a meeting was held with the Vice-Rector for Academic Affairs of Yildiz Technical University – Prof. Dr. Nur Bekiroğlu, where common directions and further prospects for cooperation were determined. During the meeting, a cooperation agreement was signed.

Currently, a student from the Industrial Biotechnology Department, Leila Khabibullina, is completing her short-term training in the Biotechnology Engineering and Microbiology module at the university. Representatives of the university respond well to her involvement, standing out from the many foreign students.

Thus, KNRTU actively establishes academic ties, thanks to which students will have the opportunity to undergo semester programs based on a partner university.
