Lecturers from the Institute of Light Industry, Fashion and Design of KNRTU took part in the St. Petersburg International Economic Forum 2023 (SPIEF). The youth forum of the All-Russian project "My Country is my Russia" was held as part of the event. Associate professors of the Department of Light Industry and Materials Guzel Nurullina and Rafik Mudarisov participated in this forum.

In 2023, more than 100 thousand people from 89 regions of Russia and 25 foreign countries, including Belarus, Uzbekistan, Tajikistan, Armenia, Kazakhstan, India, China, took part in the forum and contest "My Country is my Russia".

According to Guzel Nurullina, the forum actively discussed issues of youth career guidance, current practices of professional development of young generation, its effectiveness and building a career path.
