KNRTU students’ internships are always an attractive event. It is possible to make new acquaintances, apply their knowledge in practice, and communicate with a potential employer. Thus, recently students of the Department of Engineering Ecology have visited Ab InBev Efes brewery under the guidance of Karina I. Shaykhieva, Assistant of the Department.

The company is the largest beer producer in the world, and also actively implements the main aspects of the sustainable development concept: profound use of natural agricultural resources, application of recycled materials, energy and resource conservation.

“The students have got acquainted with the technology of foam alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages production, environmental aspects that are followed during product manufacturing. The weather is currently extremely hot, so we were offered to taste soft drinks as part of the Smart Drinking Project, aimed at improving the culture of alcohol consumption,” – explained Karina I. Shaykhieva.
