A unique chance to combine business with pleasure – to submit documents and communicate with favourite star atheletes – was given to applicants of KNRTU Nizhnekamsk Remote Campus.

For the first time in the history of KNRTU NCTI, players of hockey club Neftekhimik Nizhnekamsk (https://t.me/wolfstaya), forwards Sergei Kuptsov, Nail Yakupov and defenseman Ilya Khokhlov, took part in the work of the Admissions Committee.

Legendary atheletes came to support their hometown university. Now many applicants are making an important decision about where to enroll. Their decision must be correct, literally hat-trick: a high level of education, a perfect team of students and promising profession.

According to Galina Larionova, Executive Secretary of KNRTU NCTI Admissions Committee, they invited atheletes to the final play-off match for the applicants, who submitted originals to the Admissions Committee, and tomorrow they will be able to know which of them “won” and got into KNRTU NCTI.

The hockey players tried themselves as Admissions Committee members and communicated with applicants, passed a test on the basics of chemistry: they abbreviated DNA, named the formula of alcohol and answered all the questions of the quiz.

“When you are accepted into the hockey club, everything is a bit easier: people already know a lot about you because of dossiers and statistics, but at university you have to prove your knowledge”, – shared Ilya Khokhlov.

During the fan meeting applicants asked questions about their path to the big sports, discussed computer games and favourite ways to relax, and even talked about what animal they associate themselves with.

“We wanted to make a surprise for the applicants. Both our institute and HC Neftekhimik celebrate their anniversaries this year. We are inextricably linked, our students are the fans of the hockey players”, – explained Galina Larionova.
