Representatives of Techniks Consultants (New Delhi) Kalia Yuvraj Chander and Kalia Abhishek visited the laboratory of the General Chemical Technology Department of KNRTU. They got acquainted with the original training equipment such as a unified hydrogenation process unit and a propylene epoxidation unit. The department ordered these units from LLC NPF Meta-Chrome, one of the leading domestic enterprises in the field of development, manufacturing, testing and implementation of laboratory and pilot plants for modeling catalytic processes, as well as the creation of analytical equipment.

Associate Professor of the Department Nikolay Miroshkin and Professor Kharlampy Kharlampidi told the guests about the device and capabilities of the equipment, which is actively used in the training of Bachelors and Masters, as well as for solving research problems. Particular attention of Indian colleagues was drawn to the propylene epoxidation unit: due to the increased interest in the development of propylene oxide production, an important raw material for chemical processes.
