14 KNRTU students have received contracts for studying under the network program between KNRTU and Beijing University of Chemical Technology (BUCT). The ceremony took place within the framework of the Tatarstan Oil and Gas Chemical Forum. The papers were handed over to the students by Rector of KNRTU Yury Kazakov and Managing Director of SIBUR Corporate University Rustam Galiakhmetov.

The Project is realized with the support of SIBUR Company, which covers the cost of travel to Beijing and back, pays a special scholarship, provides intensive language training, internship and further employment in the specialty. The studies are free of charge in case of high academic performance. The Project involves 3rd year students in the fields of Polymer Processing and Engineering and Digital Engineering in Polymer Production and Processing.

14 KNRTU students will start the new academic year in China, where their studies will be organized in English. At the end of the 2+2 Double Degree Program (2 years in Russia, 2 years in China), the students will receive two diplomas (Russian and Chinese).
