At the KNRTU Department of Physical and Colloid Chemistry, within the framework of the “Algarysh” Granting Program funded by the Government of the Republic of Tatarstan, has started a cycle of lectures by Prof. Dr. Nezihe Ayas – Head of the Chemical Engineering Department of Eskisehir Technical University (Turkey).

This is the second visit of the professor to our university, but Nezihe Ayas participates in the “Algarysh” program for the first time. By the way, previously KNRTU students have been in Eskisehir Technical University for internships.

“The topics of my classes are Graphenes and their unique properties, as well as Carbon Nanotubes. In addition, my research interests include Hydrogen Energy and Automotive Engineering” – said the Professor.

During the internship, Prof. Ayas will give lectures and practical classes for staff and students of the Smart Materials program, as well as speak to students of the Chemical Boarding School of KNRTU.

According to Yuriy G. Galyametdinov, Chair of the Department of Physical and Colloid Chemistry, it is a highly useful experience for the university: “This visit will contribute to improving the quality of training in new specialties and will serve as a tool for our undergraduate and postgraduate students to perfect their foreign language. It is interesting not only to get new knowledge, but also to communicate, to understand the level of education and science in Turkey”.
