Pavel Lyakhovich, a member of the Management Board and Executive Director of PJSC SIBUR Holding, paid a business visit to the Lyceum for Gifted Children with Advanced Study of Chemistry.

The guest of honour got acquainted with the achievements of the lyceum students and the work of chemical laboratories as part of a large delegation that included Airat Safin, General Director of SIBUR-RT JSC, Mikhail Afanasyev, Head of the Zelenodolsk municipal district, the mayor of Zelenodolsk and the Rector of KNRTU Yury Kazakov also visited Dubrovka village.

The guests toured the lyceum’s unique educational track and the Boarding School Center of Youth Innovation Creativity, called Orbital.

The main achievement of any educational institution is its students, so the meeting was also attended by Artur Bagaveev, a graduate of the lyceum, currently a target student of KNRTU studying under a contract from SIBUR.

The main focus of the meeting was to get acquainted with research and project practices in the specialized SIBUR class.

During the visit, the delegation talked about the company's development prospects in the current environment, the requirements for young specialists, and the opportunities offered by the holding company's corporate educational programs for high school students. It is important that 10th grade students can already visit the production facilities, learn more about their choice of specialty and career prospects, and in the near future become target students of the largest gas processing and petrochemical company in Russia.
