Innopolis University within the framework of the federal project "Platform of University Technological Entrepreneurship" implements the All-Russian accelerator program "University Startup House" (DUS). KNRTU team led by Maria Lisanevich, Associate Professor of the Department of Medical Engineering, with the project "Naftalanpatch" (acne patches based on naphthalene oil) became the prize winner. Eleonora Matyushina, Ksenia Gonchar, Alina Timokhina and Daria Kaspar are the authors of the development.

Recently, a film titled "The Adventures of Entrepreneurs" was released on DUS channel, with one of the Naftalanpatch developers as the heroine.

“I moved to Kazan from Novosibirsk and now I am a second-year student at KNRTU. I fell in love with this city long ago during a school excursion. Then I decided that I want to study only in Kazan!” said Eleonora Matyushina.

During the video interview, our participant spoke about the idea and implementation of the project, the difficulties of creating a startup, and the relationship between entrepreneurship and science. The heroine estimated the cost of promoting her project at one million roubles.

“My parents have always supported me in my endeavours. It is important to hear from your mother that you will succeed. But it is also important to hear the opinion of an expert. For me, such a person is my supervisor Maria Sergeyevna. She not only evaluates my work, but can also be a friend and a mentor. This is probably the most important thing in the work of a budding start-up," Eleonora shared.
