KNRTU AGREED TO COOPERATE WITH THE BELARUSIAN STATE TECHNOLOGICAL UNIVERSITY

16.02.2024

The representatives of our university and the colleagues from the Belarusian State Technological University discussed today in KNRTU the promising directions of cooperation.

The experience of career guidance in schools, work with partner enterprises, development of scientific directions are just a small range of issues discussed at the meeting, which, according to the opinion of the participants, should become the beginning of active cooperation between universities.

It turned out that our universities have many areas of common interest, achievements and even issues. For example, the Republic of Belarus also faces the issue of providing schools with equipment for physics and chemistry classes, training of teaching staff and the general level of school education in specialized subjects.

As in Kazan, engineering classes are being created in Minsk, the purpose of which is not only to promote the reputation of technical specialties among future applicants, but, first of all, to enhance the quality of graduates' training.

"We have accumulated good experience in vocational guidance of schoolchildren. We have a lot to share. This is the work of the chemical lyceum of KNRTU, and the creation of engineering classes with the support of “Promkhimteh”, said Yury Kazakov, Rector of KNRTU.

About 70% of our lyceum graduates become students of KNRTU, and due to the cooperation between the advanced engineering school and educational organizations of the Republic of Tatarstan, there is a growing demand for technological specialties which are widely represented in our university.

According to Ihar Voitau, Rector of BSTU, the university actively cooperates with a large number of enterprises, its graduates join the personnel staff of factories being built on the territory of the Republic, including those working for the defense industry. The next meeting is scheduled for early March.
