"Students from Uzbekistan are among the most diligent international students of our university," said Yury Kazakov at the meeting with Azizbek Razakov, the First Secretary of the Consulate General of the Republic of Uzbekistan in Kazan.

Bachelor's and Master's students from Uzbekistan comprise about 10% of all international students studying at KNRTU. They are participants of Olympiads, activists, creative and just hardworking students who plan to make their native republic prosperous.

Azizbek Khayitovich's meeting with the students was devoted to it. The best of the best were awarded with letters of appreciation from the Consulate.

According to the Rector of KNRTU Yury Kazakov, our university and the Republic of Uzbekistan have long and successful cooperation not only in the educational sphere. We have partnerships with large industrial enterprises. There is a growing number of target students, who after studying at KNRTU become in-demand highly qualified specialists.

We organize an Olympiad together, where we identify the most talented students. It is gratifying that all students from Uzbekistan speak excellent Russian. They not only honour the traditions of their homeland, but are also well acquainted with Russian holidays and memorable dates.

"It's very encouraging that our children can get those specialities that are now especially in demand in our country at your university. Our republic is actively developing and the engineering direction has received a significant growth due to the state support," said Azizbek Razakov at the meeting with the Rector of KNRTU.
