On the picturesque Glubokoe Lake in Kazan, an ecological clean—up day was held in the format of "Clean Games" - team competitions for cleaning territories and sorting waste. The event was supported by SIBUR's Formula for Good Deeds social investment program and brought together participants who are ready to make the city cleaner and preserve nature.

Clean Games are one of the stages of the Student Cleanness Cup project, implemented jointly with KNRTU and Federal Agency for Youth Affairs.Grants. This is an exciting game with prizes, where teams search for artifacts, solve environmental puzzles, collect and sort garbage, earning points. Game statistics are kept in real time on the website and in the mobile application, and within the framework of one game, from 2 to 5 tons of garbage are usually collected.

Glubokoe Lake is a unique natural area with 383 plant species (about 24% of Tatarstan's flora), including 17 rare plants listed in the Red Book. It is also home to 170 species of mushrooms, 210 species of birds from 17 orders, and 5 rare and endangered animals.

During the game, the participants found a lot of interesting things: an old DVD player, a sewing machine, and even a fur coat. A total of 311 bags of garbage were collected - almost 3 tons of waste, and a separate collection of plastic from household supplies brought another 30 bags.

Here is the rating of the teams based on the results of the competition:

1st place – KRST team (our university student Timur Zakharov is part of the team) 2nd place – Eco-Cats Dorm 6 3rd place – Council of Dorm 1

The "Clean Games" on Glubokoe Lake are not only a contribution to nature conservation, but also an opportunity for students to join a team and make a real contribution to the ecological future of Tatarstan.
