The autumn turned out to be truly international for the first-year student - Karim Ramaev. After passing the competitive selection, he joined the delegation of the Republic of Tatarstan, which went to Malaysia to participate in the youth camp "Friends".

The ten-day program held in Kuala Lumpur became a unique experience of cultural and educational exchange for him. The participants were divided into groups of 20 people, each of which included ten Malaysians.

The trip left a lot of vivid impressions on the student. Karim noted that the Global Village Cultural Festival was especially memorable, where participants introduced each other to the traditions of their countries. The extensive excursion program was no less vivid: the delegation visited the famous limestone caves of Batu, saw the majestic Petronas twin Towers and visited the Putra Mosque.

One of the key tasks of the camp was joint project work. According to Karim, an educational program was held for the participants every day, in which international teams created their own initiatives. At the end of the shift, these projects were presented to the experts.

A special and unexpected event for the entire delegation from Tatarstan was the Sabantuy holiday, organized right in Malaysia. A KNRTU student also shared that they had the opportunity to visit a local school, where they talked with students, learned about their learning process, and even took a Malay language lesson.

"Overall, I really enjoyed this trip," Karim shared his emotions. "Communicating in English with guys from another country, sharing culture — I'll remember it for a long time."
