Dmitry Saveliev, a graduate of KNRTU, has been appointed General Director of the Kaliningrad petrochemical enterprise Ecopet. The company is the largest producer of polyethylene terephthalate (PET) in Russia and Eastern Europe, a feedstock for plastic bottles.
Dmitry Saveliev graduated from KNRTU with a degree in Basic Chemical Production Processes and Chemical Cybernetics. His professional career in the chemical industry began in 2001. For more than ten years, from 2013 to 2023, he worked at the synthetic rubber plant of PJSC Nizhnekamskneftekhim, having worked his way up from the head of the workshop to the head of production.
In 2024, Dmitry Saveliev joined Tatneft Group of Companies, and in February 2025, he took the position of chief engineer at Ecopet.
