Samira Sadykova, a first-year student of the Kazan Technological College of KNRTU, became the winner of the All-Russian Chemistry Genius Olympiad.
The Olympiad was organized by the Association of educational organizations "PROFESSIONAL" in association with "Samara Medical College named after N. Lyapina". Its purpose is to increase interest in the subject, deepen knowledge and evaluate the quality of students' training in the field of chemistry.
Samira notes that her passion for chemistry began at school thanks to a teacher who managed to establish an interest in the discipline. Now, already in college classes, this science is opening up for her from a new angle.
"Chemistry interested me because there is no way to do without experiments in this science. It was the interactions between substances that once sunk into my soul," the winner shares. — Now she fascinates me also by the fact that I realize and understand what happens in the process of reactions. Chemistry is not magic, but an explicable science."
Samira emphasizes that the support of her supervisor, Albina Nakhmatulina, played a huge role in her success. She noticed the student's interest and suggested that she deepen her knowledge through research, solving non-standard tasks and participating in the Olympiad.
"My supervisor's faith in me is incredibly motivating and makes me feel like a part of something bigger, inspires me to do great things!" says Samira.
Albina Nakhmatulina received a letter of recognition from the organizers of the Olympiad for preparing the winner.
