24.04.2026

On April 21, in Tashkent, within the framework of the 6th International Industrial Exhibition Innoprom. Central Asia, a trilateral agreement on cooperation was signed between PJSC PhosAgro, Mendeleev University of Chemical Technology, and Kazan National Research Technological University. The document was signed by Dilbar Sultanova, Vice-Rector for Academic Affairs at Kazan National Research Technological University, Alexander Gilgenberg, General Director of PhosAgro, and Sergey Filatov, Rector of Mendeleev University of Chemical Technology.

According to Dilbar Shamilyevna, the parties intend to combine scientific, educational, and production capabilities in the fields of chemistry, agriculture, ecology, and environmental protection. Among the priority tasks are the transfer of technologies from laboratories to industrial enterprises, the expansion of topics relevant to PhosAgro in the research plans of KNRTU, and participation in network interuniversity programs for training chemical engineers.

KNRTU has extensive experience in cooperating with the holding company, which is one of the world's leading producers of phosphorus-containing fertilizers. The Department of Inorganic Substances and Materials Technology at our university is implementing a number of research and educational projects in the company's interests, and a branded space of PhosAgro was opened in Building E in 2024.

The choice of the signing venue was not accidental. PhosAgro organized a key panel session "Green Technologies and Projects in Industry as a Driver of Cooperation: New horizons for BRICS and CIS partnership". The key message of the session is the training of chemical engineers to develop modern green technologies and quickly transfer the industry to their practical application.

The signed agreement also involves joint work on projects in the field of decarbonization, big data processing and implementation of digital solutions in the chemical industry.

The next step in the development of the partnership will be a working meeting of the management of PhosAgro with representatives of KNRTU, scheduled for the end of June 2026. During the event, the parties are expected to discuss specific roadmaps for implementing educational and scientific projects, as well as mechanisms for targeted training of students to meet the company's needs.
