Yuri Kazakov, Rector of the Kazan National Research Technological University, and Shamil Yakupov, President of the Regional Youth Public Organization "League of Students of the Republic of Tatarstan," signed the Cooperation Agreement. The signing ceremony was attended by representatives of the university's management, the League of Students, and the Student Council of the Kazan National Research Technological University.

The previous agreement was signed 15 years ago. According to the President of the League of Students, the organization initiated the renewal of agreements with universities in the republic on the occasion of its 30th anniversary. He also emphasized that the League of Students and the Kazan National Research Technological University have a long-standing, close, and warm relationship.

— This is because our students are the best! — said Yuri Kazakov. The rector confirmed that support for student initiatives is a priority for us, and in various areas where our students are active, they are achieving great results, including thanks to the help and support of the vice-rector for extracurricular and social work, Albina Shavaleeva, and her team.

"KNRTU students are at the forefront," agreed Shamil Yakupov. This became evident during the hearing of a detailed report on the activities of the Union of Students and Postgraduates (the student government of KNRTU) and its subdivisions over the past year, which was presented by Maxim Tsyganok, the head of the Union. The report highlighted the achievements of students, the success of grant programs, and the events organized as part of the winning applications, including the Festival of Student Initiatives and the educational competition "Steps in the Family," the Forum of Educational Practices "Learn to Remember," the student leadership training programs, and other events.

After the report, the signing of the agreement took place.

— Thank you to the League of Students and all the students of Tatarstan for their well-coordinated work and the atmosphere of mutual understanding and creativity that distinguishes the universities of Tatarstan! — Yuri Kazakov addressed the participants of the meeting at the end of the ceremony.

It should be noted that the cooperation between KNRTU and the League of Students of the Republic of Tatarstan in the field of youth policy began when the organization was established in 1996, when the student leaders of Kazan State University, Kazan State Medical University, and the then-Kazan State Technical University decided to join forces for the common good. Over the years, KNRTU students have been actively involved in the League's projects and have served on its board, as well as in the Council of Elders of the Republic and other organizations. In the "Student of the Year of the Republic of Tatarstan" award and the "Student Spring of the Republic of Tatarstan" festival, KNRTU students have consistently achieved the highest number of awards among other universities, highlighting the high level of preparation and engagement of our student community.
