The KNRTUCTF 2026 competition, dedicated to practical tasks in the area of cybersecurity, has come to an end at KNRTU. The event combined an online stage, a face-to-face part, an educational meetup, task analysis, and awarding of the winners.

The online stage took place from 10:00 on May 22 to 10:00 on May 23. The participants had to solve tasks in the CTF format, using their knowledge of cryptography, steganography, OSINT, data analysis, vulnerability scanning, and working with non-standard information formats. Special attention was paid not only to the competitive part, but also to the educational preparation of the participants: training tasks and materials aimed at developing applied skills were published before the start of the tournament.

On May 23, an in-person meetup was held in the creative space of the L building of KNRTU. The program included lectures by invited experts, interactive tasks on Raspberry Pi, analysis of competition tasks, final tests of the "Kazan Students" competition, and an award ceremony.

The overall winners of the KNRTUCTF were MargoRobbie, shatterk1ss, and stalloviy. In the "Kazan Students" competition, the prize-winning places were taken by nioshima, siowel, and CldSnk.

1st place: Niyaz Fathilislamov, group 141-21

2nd place: Timur Kajaev, group 141-22

3rd place: Kamil Zakirov, group 131-22.

The organizers thank the participants, partners, experts, and everyone who contributed to the tournament.
