On June 8, the Beijing University of Chemical Technology (BUCT) hosted solemn ceremony to celebrate the successful completion of the second year of the 2+2 double-degree program by KNRTU students. As part of the event, the graduates received certificates and commemorative gifts.

"It was an amazing experience to study in English, live in a completely different culture, and find common ground. China is a diverse country that combines traditional values with modern technology. I advise all applicants in 2026 to carefully consider the opportunities and prospects of this KNIU project," says Aidar Fazullin, a graduate of the program.

The international project, launched in 2022, provides a unique opportunity to earn diplomas from two prestigious universities: two years of study at KNIU and two more years at PUHTS.

It is worth noting that the program is open to students in the fields of Chemical Technology (Institute of Polymers) and Technological Machines and Equipment (Institute of Chemical and Petroleum Engineering). "When I applied for the 2+2 program, I had no idea how dramatically it would change my life. Two years in Kazan gave me a strong theoretical foundation, and my studies in Beijing opened up a whole new perspective on my profession. I didn't just earn a second degree; I gained international experience, improved my language skills, made friends from all over the world, and realized that I could work anywhere in the world," said Egor Ignatyuk, a graduate of the program.
