Acting chair of Theoretical Heating Engineering Department, Vener Khairutdinov and associate professor Ilgiz Gabitov shared their impressions of business trip to Liaoning Petrochemical Professional Technical Institute (Jinzhou, China).

"This trip was is not a mere part of an educational project but an opportunity to establish a meaningful dialogue with collegues from rapidly developing region", Vener said.

The Institute produced separate lecture room which were equipped with an interactive board for presentations. During the classes the course was adapted to the students' demands with more applicable discipline aspects.

The classes were conducted in English with additional simultaneous interpreting into Chinese subtles. We had assistants among local professors who gave us a hand in case of any troubles.

We are thankful to the Liaoning Petrochemical College for impeccable reception, warm atmosphere and sincerity. KNRTU and LPC are devoted to the same assignment - training of engineers for patrochemical field. However our approaches to it reflect different educational traditions and engineering mindsets. We in KNRTU are proud of profound theoretical base built up on powerful mathematical apparatus and train professionals capable of designing equipment and carry out scientific researches. LPC is focused on perfect skill of operating real equipment when the theory is enough to operate and maintain", said the prosessors.
