Anastasia Neurotova, a student of the Institute of Food Production and Biotechnology at KNRTU, as part of the Russian Energia team, won the international beach rugby tournament in Qingdao, China.

Russian rugby players demonstrated an outstanding game, winning all official matches and winning the main trophy of the competition.

"It was a real explosion of emotions! Pride, joy and, of course, great relief that all our hard work has paid off. “When we realized that we had won absolutely all the matches and were taking the cup… the feeling was absolutely unreal!” the winner shares her impressions.

According to Anastasia, the key to success was well‑coordinated teamwork. The athletes managed to overcome difficult weather conditions and acclimatization, proving that true team spirit can cope with any challenges.
