Beijing University of Chemical Technology (BUCT) is a national key university directly affiliated to Ministry of Education of China, one of the Project 211 universities and 985 Project Innovation Platforms. BUCT shoulders the mission of innovative talent education, scientific research, and high-tech development.

The scholarships are available for Master’s and PhD Degrees. You can apply for the scholarship during your last Bachelor year.

2. Two letters of reference from Professor or Associate Professor;
3. Study and research plan;
4. Original Transcript and Diploma of the highest Degree (notarized);
5. Passport size photos, passport copy(*1);
6. Copy of Foreigner Physical Examination Form;
7. Acceptance letter from BUCT scientific supervisor (*2);
8. Police clearance certificate;
English or HSK proficiency certificates (minimal IELTS 6.0 for Master’s Degree and 6.5 for PhD entry; HSK Level 5 for courses taught by Chinese)(*3); 9. Originals or copies of publications, patents, and other academic achievements (If any, priority will be given).

(*1) – Your passport with the validity not less than 2 years.

(*2) – Applicants requires a preliminary acceptance letter from a BUCT professor and upload it online. Otherwise you will not be considered as a candidate.

3. Document review;
4. Online interview;
5. Admission announcement (All accepted applicants will be informed via Email.);
6. Receive the admission Letter and JW201/JW202 form by postal mail.

SCHOLARSHIPS:

1) Chinese Government Scholarship (CSC Scholarship);

2) Beijing University of Chemical Technology Presidential Scholarship.

The scholarship covers:

– Tuition and accommodation;
– Living expenses: Master’s Degree – RMB 3000 yuan/month, Doctor’s Degree – RMB 3500 yuan/month;
– Comprehensive medical insurance: 800 юаней на человека в год.

3) Beijing Government Scholarship.

The scholarship covers 1 year or half year tuition fee and must be review every year.

3. School of International Education will organize the assessment according to application materials.

In case of a large number of applicants the International Affairs of KNRTU can hold an internal preliminary competition.
