ARTEM N. BEZRUKOV




  

Artem Bezrukov graduated from Kazan State Technological University in 2007 and received his PhD in 2010 at the Department of Physical Chemistry at the same university. His major study area was chemical engineering. He also obtained a minor degree dedicated to professional translation and linguistics.

Artem was given the lecturer position at the Department of Physical Chemistry in 2010. He took to the position of an associate professor in 2011. His area of responsibilities includes lectures and practices in physical chemistry in Russian and English. His teaching skills are also demanded by the Department of Foreign Languages for Professional Communication where he teaches a course of Computer Assisted Translation. Dr. Bezrukov worked at the International Office of Kazan National Research Technological University 2011-2018. His area of activities included organization of international conferences and the visits of foreign delegations, supervision of international agreements and participation in the development of joint degree programs.

Artem is an alumnus of the Fulbright Program “Russian International Education Administrators” (2012). He is also an alumnus of the regional exchange program “Algarysh”; the grant he won funded his postdoctoral research at Carnegie Mellon University, USA, in 2019.

Dr. Bezrukov has a list of various awards, grants and scholarships: 2 awards for best innovative ideas of the Republic of Tatarstan in 2018 and 2019. – Scholarship of the Russian Potanin Foundation in 2018. - Fulbright RIEA Scholarship in 2012; - Scholarship of Russian Federation Government in 2009; - Scholarship of Republic of Tatarstan Government in 2007; and etc.

In additional to the current Jean Monnet Module project, Dr. Bezrukov has been the member of the Capacity Building project since 2018: Modernization of Doctoral Education in Science and Improvement of Teaching Methodologies (MODEST).

Dr. Bezrukov is the author or co-author of 50 scientific publications including journal papers, conference proceedings and study guides.

In his Jean Monnet module role, Artem Bezrukov gives lectures and organizes workshops in transformations of EU universities into centers of entrepreneurships (so-called ‘3.0 Universities’) with the focus on engineering education and technological ventures. The students will discover how their European colleagues learn to approach technological problems like entrepreneurs, expand their expertise in breakthrough technologies and develop personalized innovative career paths.
