MAIN ACHIEVEMENTS

Natalia M. Selivanova is an expert in the area of physical chemistry of self-assembling systems based on surfactant, polymers, bloc-copolymers and macrocyclic compounds. She studies lanthanide-containing lyotropic liquid crystals and hybrid functional soft materials for further application in biomedicine and bioanalyses.

She took part in more than 20 grants and scientific projects, including as the head of grants from the Russian Foundation for Basic Research (2014-2018), the grant of the Government of the Republic of Tatarstan "Algarysh" (2017) for scientific internships, the grant of the Russian Science Foundation (2018-2020), the European Union grant "Erasmus+" for the development of new educational programs for undergraduates and postgraduates of natural sciences (2019-2021)

She authored over 120 papers in peer-refereed academic journals, most of them are in central Russian (Proceedings of the USSR Academy of Sciences, Journal of Physical Chemistry, Colloid Journal etc.) and foreign (J of Chem. Phys., Liquid Crystal, Soft Matter, J of Molecular Liquids etc.). She is the author of 15 educational and methodological works, monographs, including one monographs in English on metallomesogenes. h-index Web of Science /Scopus: 8/8. She has 1 patent.

Scientific and educational internships: 2004, 2006, 2014,– Darmstadt Technical University (Germany); 2006 – Katholieke Universiteit Leuven (Belgium); 2008 – York University (United Kingdom); 2012 – Imperial College of London (United Kingdom); 2013 – Lehigh University (USA); 2014 – University of Paderborn (Germany); 2019 – Jagiellonian University, Krakow (Poland).

She is reviewer of Russian Foundation for Fundamental Research
