The Department of Analytical Chemistry, Certification and Quality Management is one of the oldest departments of our University. It was created in 1930. The founder of the Department was famous chemist A.M. Vasilyev. Vladimir F. Sopin has served as Department Chair since 1995.

The Department takes an active part in International and Federal research programs and wins grants. The department cooperates with Joint Institute for Nuclear Research in Dubna, Institute for Nuclear studies in Warsaw, Leibniz Institute for Catalysis at the University of Rostock in Germany.

Academics

The Department offers two Specialist Degree programs “Standardization and Certification”, and “Quality Management”. The Department alumni have a career as creative research scholars or industrial managers.
