The Department has been running Specialist Degree program in “Information Systems” since 1999.

Academics

“Information Systems” Specialist Degree students major in business information systems.

The Department runs additional education programs in information technologies.

The Department offers Engineer Degree programs in “Information Systems at the Machine and Instrumentation Industry” for students majoring in “Information Systems in Business.”

The increasing demand in industry for hardware and software engineers broadens the career opportunities of Information Technology (IT) and Applied Mathematics Department graduates.

The graduates of the Department work in machine and instrumentation industry, chemical and petrochemical industry, light and food industry and trade, catering and consumer services, in public service and business.

Research

The Department carries out joint research with experts from Germany, Turkey, Hungary in the field of Intellectual Information Systems.
