The Department runs Specialist Degree programs in:
- Apparel Technology;
- Leather Goods Technology;
- Tourism;
- Service.
Within Specialist Degree program students major in:
- Consulting services and apparel distribution technology;
- Consulting services, footwear and leather accessories distribution technology;
- Management and Marketing in clothing manufacture;
- Management and Marketing in footwear manufacture.
Research
Research in the Department is carried out in the following priority fields:
- technology and garment design methods advancement;
- computerized garment design;
- alternative technologies in a new product line production from clothing manufacture wastes.
Professors have close links both with the enterprises of light industry and research and development enterprises in Kazan and the Republic of Tatarstan, where students can improve their professional skills during their industrial terms.
