The Department was established in 2002.

Academics

The Department runs Specialist Degree programs in “Engineering in Biomedical Practice” and “Machinery and Equipment in Textile and Light Industry “.

The Department offers Ph. D program in “Materials Science of Textile and Light Industry Manufacture”.

150 students, 4 postgraduate students, 1 postdoctoral student, 1 full professor, 5 Ph.D. holders are engaged in the educational process.

Research Research in the Department is prevalent in the following science problems:

• manufacturing engineering;
• structural materials technology, composite materials, high molecular weight compounds for medicine and light industry;
• treatment and coating by plasma drilling method;
• low temperature plasma analysis.
