For several years in a row Russia has been the leading country worldwide as regards the number of applications for Jean Monnet activities. In the period 2015-2018, a total of 113 Jean Monnet projects were started up or carried out by Russian universities. In 2019, the Russian universities submitted a total of around 280 applications, but only 15 of them were approved including 7 modules, 2 chairs, 4 projects, 1 network and 1 association.
The conference participants had an opportunity to discuss the issues of Jean Monnet applications submission, implementation of the approved application, and also shared the results of Jean Monnet activities at their universities.
Julia Ziyatdinova shared her experience in application submission. Kazan National Research Technological University submitted the application three times, every subsequent application took into account the expert evaluations, and was modified, thus, finally, it appeared on the list of the selected applications in the third year.
