Teaching the Course “EU 3rd Generation Universities as an Integrated Innovative Environment for Young Future Makers”

A series of lectures and seminars was given to students in October 2019. The topic of lectures and seminars were dedicated to the discipline “EU 3rd Generation Universities as an Integrated Innovative Environment for Young Future Makers”.
One of such seminars was held on October 30, 2019 (please see enclosed photos). The seminar was given for MSc students of group 539-M1 by Dr. Artem Bezrukov, Associate Professor of Department of Physical and Colloidal Chemistry.
These lectures and seminars were focused on different aspects of third generation universities in European Union:
1. What are 3.0 universities in Europe and how the change their surrounding societies and incorporate students into a world-class research.
2. The history of EU university transformation into 3.0 universities.
3. Business incubators at EU universities and the opportunities they offer for young innovators.
4. Preparation of a grant application for an innovative product developed by a group of students based on an EU university demands.
5. Summary of an innovative ecosystem at European universities: from a student idea to a new disruptive technology.
6. Young future makers from EU universities: success stories and approaches to copy.
7. Innovative brainstorming to satisfy the industrial and societal needs based on the best practices that students learn from EU universities.
Students were highly interested in these lectures and seminars. During seminars they actively participated in brainstorming sessions (please see photos) and made presentations within the framework of the course topics.
