06.10.2020

On October 5, 2020, a general meeting of the first year PhD students was held in the Round Hall. This year, we have 86 new PhD students.

The representatives of the departments training PhD students and the head of the postgraduate and doctoral studies department Elmira Kushaeva greeted the PhD students and told them about the doctoral training program at KNRTU. Associate Professor of the Department of Foreign Languages for Professional Communication, Liliya Gazizulina told the students about the participation of KNRTU in the Erasmus + MODEST CBHE project and the work within the project.

Since 2018, the project has been aimed at modernizing the process of training PhD students. An interdisciplinary module in natural sciences with the focus on chemistry and modules in intercultural communication and research commercialization are being developed. Within the project, several trainings were held, in which talented PhDl students of our university took part. Webinars with partner universities and schools are planned to be held where our PhD students are supposed to participate. This year, doctoral students will participate in new courses developed within MODEST on international research writing and presentation skills, commercialization of research, personal development and research methodology.
