International Network Scientific and Practical Conference “Engineering Education in the Context of Future Industrial Revolutions - Synergy 2020”

On November 10-11, Kazan National Research Technological University hosted the International Network Scientific and Practical Conference “Engineering Education in the Context of Future Industrial Revolutions - Synergy 2020”. The conference sessions included the most relevant reports on global trends in engineering education.

The conference session on training of highly skilled staff for leading academic, educational organizations and business communities gathered 37 participants: 10 people in person and 27 in the online format (on the Zoom platform). Three reports presented at the section resulted from collaborative work of ERASMUS+ MODEST (Modernization of Doctoral Education in Science and Improvement of Teaching Methodologies) project participants from Belarus, Latvia, Poland and the Russian Federation. A report by I.Obukhova (Moscow Institute of Physics and Technology), I.Skendere (University of Latvia), M.Frankowicz (Jagiellonian University, Krakow), J.Ziyatdinova (KNRTU) “Erasmus+ Capacity Building in Higher Education” focused on adaptation of European practices for Russian doctoral schools. E. Kremneva (Polotsk State University) and E. Kushaeva (KNRTU) reported on comparative analysis of the training system of highly qualified personnel for science and industry in the Russian Federation and Belarus. E. Valeeva (KNRTU) and L. Gazizulina (KNRTU) presented some elaboration of the “foreign language” course content for doctoral students within the MODEST ERASMUS+ project at KNRTU.
